Flash Fic Drive was originally a small event that has grown into a much larger project. We're so excited by and appreciative of the interest and support we've received from contributors. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in this community led effort!

Contributors MUST be 18+ to participate!

Additionally, contributors may not write underage content. AO3 refers to underage content as “descriptions or depictions of sexual activity by characters under the age of 18”.

  1. Thank you for signing up to be a contributor! When a donator submits a claim to your form, we will send you their prompt and contact details. If you have any questions regarding the prompt itself, please contact the donator directly. If you are unable to reach your donator, please contact us and we will assist.

    1. Please feel free to share your link on your socials once the donation period starts. There will also be a Notion page that includes an archive of the contributing writers and their parameters.

  2. Once you have confirmed the prompt with your donator, feel free to start writing!Contributors must complete their fic(s) within a month after each prompt confirmation. Contributors are welcome to open more donation slots after they have fulfilled their initial fic offerings.

    1. Example 1: If you received a confirmation on Feb 5, then Feb 10, you have until March 5 to complete the first fic and March 10 to complete the second.
    2. Example 2: If you received a confirmation on Feb 5, but discussed with your donator and finalized the prompt on Feb 10, you have until March 10 to complete the fic.

  3. Please refrain from calling your fic a commission, or using any related words in AO3. It goes against their TOS. Additionally, the language would be inaccurate, as you and Flash Fic Drive are not collecting money for this event. Contributors may refer to their works as a gift.

    1. Contributors are welcome, but not required, to gift their fics to their donators using the AO3 feature.

  4. Once you have completed your fic, please notify us so we can let your donator know. In addition, please post your fic to the AO3 collection and feel free to tag us on any promotional tweets so we can retweet them.

    How to post to the collection

Once again, because the money goes straight from the donator to the aid group of their choice, Flash Fic Drive cannot refund any donations. If you as a contributor are unable to fulfill your prompt(s), please contact the mods immediately.
