Flash Fic Drive was originally a small event that has grown into a much larger project. We're so excited by and appreciative of the interest and support we've received from contributors. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in this community led effort!

Donators MUST be 18+ to participate!

Additionally, donators may not request underage content in their prompts. AO3 refers to underage content as “descriptions or depictions of sexual activity by characters under the age of 18”.

  1. Donators must check to see if writers have openings before donating by accessing their Google Form. Information regarding openings and prompt parameters can be found in Contributing Writers .
    1. Please read writers’ forms in full. Note that some authors request you check in with them about certain prompt topics, tropes, or kinks BEFORE submitting your form.
  2. The fic donation forms open on February 1st at 8pm PST and close on February 28th at 8pm PST. In order to qualify for a flash fic, donators must make a minimum of 10 USD towards any of the aid groups listed here.
    1. If you are not based in the United States, please calculate your currency to USD before donating.
    2. For administrative purposes and to prevent donor fraud, donators must submit a new donation with every form. For example, donators MAY NOT submit a single screenshot of 40 USD and reuse it across 4 different forms. Please instead submit 4 separate screenshots of 4 payments.
  3. After you have submitted your form, please sit tight! Once your contributor has confirmed they've received your prompt, we'll notify you via email. If they have any questions regarding your prompt, they will contact you directly. If not, please expect your fic to be posted on AO3.
  4. Fics will be posted to the AO3 collection within 31 days after contributors receive their prompts. If your fic is not posted to the AO3 collection in 31 days, please contact us.

Once again, because the money goes straight from the donator to the aid group of their choice, Flash Fic Drive cannot refund any donations in the case of an abandoned fic.
